What time is it? Summer Time!

Hello Everyone! I hope you've all had a wonderful day!

It is the beginning of April right now, so everyone has about 6-8 weeks of school left. Yay! But for some reason, even though I know it's not here yet, it feels like it's summer time.

This is really weird because it's actually snowed where I live very recently (which is really annoying as I hate snow) but I'm still getting that summer vibe. I don't know if it's maybe the anticipation? I mean, late spring and all summer are my favorite times, so I'm very excited for the weather to warm up and summer fun to commence. But it's still weird to wake up and just feel like 'Ah, Summer. I love this time of year. So calm and carefree...oh wait. It's April. Ugh.'

I don't know why I'm so antagonistic towards the other seasons either, like as soon as fall hits I immediately miss summer. I think maybe it's because I really like being warm. I don't like being cold at all, and would rather burn to death in a fire pit than freeze to death in Antarctica. Also weird, is a lot of the people I talk to love the winter and snow and fall and Christmas and crunchy leaves that come around the cold times, but I honestly hate all that stuff.

I'm going to stop ranting about my hatred toward the other seasons now and talk about my goals for the summer. (Although, quick side note, I may hate winter, but I don't hate Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians. He is a gift to mankind.)

First, I kind of need a job. I babysit a lot, so I've made money, but I should probably get something more substantial and also my mom wants me to save money. I just don't know where I want to apply for a job, or what kind of hours I'd want to work.

Second, there are several shows I am anticipating the arrival of on Neflix in June (hopefully) and I want to binge watch them. I don't know if that'll work with a job, but we'll have to see.

Third, I have a reading list that is like, a mile long. There are so many books I want to read this summer. Or reread. Or finish. Or write fanfiction about. I'll probably at least finish rereading the Harry Potter series and the first Percy Jackson book (which is also my favorite book of all time), and maybe the last Hunger Games. I'd also like to finish the Maze Runner series. And the Selection series, and catch up on comic books, and buy some comic books, etc.

Fourth, I am going to a comic con this year, right after a big vacation. I am super excited for the con, but I also don't know if I want to cosplay or not, and if so, what. I could go as Supergirl (I actually dressed up as her yesterday) or maybe like, Jemma Simmons from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. If anyone has any easy cosplay ideas, let me know! Oh, and by the way, Stan Lee will be at the con giving out autographs!!! I can't even begin to describe how excited I am for that.

Fifth, I just want to enjoy summer. It's really a beautiful time of year, and I can't wait to run around and have free time and go swimming and just drink it all in.
